Four rules that hold everywhere
Make vertical first
Most placements now recommend 9:16. A 16:9 film cropped to vertical loses its type and its subject; recompose it instead.
Design for silence
Feeds start muted. The first seconds have to work without sound.
Keep type off the edges
The safe zones above are where the platform puts its buttons, captions and names. Keep words and logos inside them.
Short wins
Platforms that recommend a length recommend 6 to 34 seconds.
Every WOMO film comes in all four
A WOMO film is delivered in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5, each one laid out for its screen rather than cropped, plus a silent version for muted feeds. One sentence, one film, every placement above. See AI video ads.
One film, laid out four ways
